This came from my late grandfather’s barn. For years I had not bothered to open it up, thinking it was .30 caliber M1 Carbine ammunition. Cleaning out the barn, I decided to open it up, and look what I found! 768 Rounds of 30-06 in 8 round clips, packed in bandoleers. 192 rounds per ammo can.
