You're right about the mold, I forgot about the concave part of the spoon. The knife and fork would still work.

How could I make a mold from a spoon? I'm very interested in giving a friend a set of chocolate utensils (fork, knife, spoon, etc.) for a birthday gift.

For me, dirt cheap would have to mean Free!! I meant it when I said that I don't have the funding to go out and buy stuff. As a result, I have to recycle materials.
