Well, i wired the elements exactly as described in TJ's diagram, and i kept popping breakers.. Unless I got something wrong? (Probably)

I got 5 lengths, each measure 6 ohms, and about 102" lo ...

Kay.. Got two tanks. One is a 60 gallon and the other is 67 gallon, I guess. I hooked both up to the air compressor to test where they "leaked", and filled each to 20# (kinda scary) PRESSUR ...

yeah... Getting 30 Amps in one circuit ain't a problem (Vee don' need no steeenking breakers...) Laughing But only the most ELITE vacuum cleaners have even only a 12Amp motor..

Hey.
Tried a pump from a refrig compressor and only got to 22" Hg but it took 4 minutes. I've had people say they'll pull 29". I 'll hafta see it..

Well, the heat factor is an issue. It just ain't werking. Not enough heat output. I've since bought an oven element, but plan on moving up to heat tubes after I get stuff together.
