Nearly all of those are coroplast aren't they? I would think the voids in the corrugated plastic spaces would make for very uneven melting of the side not facing the heat source.

I have a piece of 3" pvc here and just measured it, the inside diameter is 3".

I imagine the same would hold true for 4" as well.
