I don't think you understood what I suggested.
The reason his part "works" is because he is accepting a huge variation in sheet thickness inside the part.

TIRE WET....

Low buck at most auto stores. reasonably thick and never leaves markoff on clear parts. PETG and Lexan safe.

Howdy.... I use 1 inch pvc plumbing connections and clear tubing that is asnug fit over it. That way ball valves and t's and stuff is simple to rearrange.
