hasn't been a problem yet for my wooden frame. I don't do TONS of pulling but we've done a decent amount with this one frame.

I just pulled a test pull of a new mold tonight, and it worked just fine.

Well I haven't been around here in quite a while but I dug up this old post.

Using my old ghetto rig with the wooden frames, I pulled approximately 1700-2000 pieces. I have since given all of my equipment away and quit making the items I was making but my customers just can't accept that so I guess I am going back in the business. I am building another oven now and I decided to check back in and have a refresher course. This new oven will be simple also but at least maybe a little better looking than the other one. I just hope it works as good. That one that I threw together back then worked extremely well. Smile

Hey, great that you're back around and have items that people want to buy!
Don't know your vac former size or oven plans but I'm a big fan of the ProtoForm modular design for medium to large ovens. It gets away from the one big sheet so it's not prone to cracking. I've built both a modular overhead oven and bottom oven.

Yeah I've read that about 10 times in the last week. Awesome job. Actually it is an amazing job. What I build is small so my oven is only 16x24. The last one I built used an element out of a stove and it worked awesome. Great pulls every time. This oven I'm building now is more in line with yours.
