Hi

Very much a newby here. In fact up to 2 weeks ago, I didn't even know what vacuum forming was.

I've already got the husband to build me a simple A4 size vacuum box. Using the kitchen oven, and the house vacuum, I have already pulled a couple of moulds using 2 & 3mm thick plastic.

All with the help of this forum, so even just sitting back and reading all the old posts has been quite an education.

Got a number of projects in mind, but I'm very much aware that I have a steep learning curve in front of me.

The forum seems to be slowing down a bit, not much of a "welcome wagon" any more. There is a wealth of info in old posts.... I don't know if you've found drcrash yet...... http://vacuumformerplans.blogspot.com/2007/06/web-sites-for-vacuum-forming.html Lot of info. for small scale home vacuum forming.
Anyway, welcome, be careful and have fun.......Fredo

ps Don't let the plastic melt in your oven.
