I've been interested in making my own stuff for as many years as I can remember. I am and have been restoring classic cars and now have branched out into making the parts I need to finish them. Since I'm into the type of cars that no one makes many parts for. I'm just doing the restorations for me now (retired) I want to try my hand at vacuum forming and this was the best site that I've found . thanks for sharing all your knowledge.
oh and I'm going to build a proto form 2x4 size but 2x2 heaters (my parts are not that big) but you never know and I can always upgrade to the bigger setup if needed. steel was delivered today and wood will be bought in a couple of days. _________________ Newby just learning and going with the Proto form |

Hi Keastab
Welcome to the group!
As you said, lots of good information here. You made a good choice, you can't go wrong with the proven Proto Form plans.
Best of luck on your build.
