I was wrong about the controller... It's for 50-220 volts AC... I had DC on the brain when I ran across it... Saw the 220 and assumed it was DC .. Should have known it couldn't be that simple... The up side for me was I found what I was looking for.... http://www.aliexpress.com/item/DC-motor-controller-PWM-DC-motor-speed-controller-PLC-switch-6V-90V15A-10-PCS-LOT/1433243337.html ... My new project has 3 main components, the really sad part is that they are all made in China... I'll start a thread when I get all the parts and pull the shells, and see a lawyer. _________________ If someone has a gun and is trying to kill you,

Looks they turned out well. Did the speaker panel work the way you expected? _________________ DougN - Just in case you're wondering, I got my "rating" legitimately... by posting aimless drivel, useless advice, and pointless questions. |

Looks very nice!
What did you cut that out with...is that a CNC in the video?
Also, those "air vents" that you open in the car under the dash...brought back memories of some of my families older cars...I think my mom's old Corvair had those?
Thanks for posting.

yup that's my "slow, slow" home built CNC unit. currently waiting on a new set of multi start acme screws to make it smoother and FASTER. and yep those are fresh air vents for my dart. (yeah corvairs did too). usually we call them leaf blowers, cause every time you open one you get a face full of junk/leaves and what not. That's what got me started into the cnc and vacuforming builds since no one makes parts for the earliest "A" body mopars. we are the ugly ducklings of the muscle car scene. Those kick panels came out so nice that a friend came over and left with them as soon as I had cut them out. they were still warm as he was bolting them on grinning ear to ear. he's got a list of things he wants made and will help with the cost of prototyping them up for our cars. that works for me. _________________ Newby just learning and going with the Proto form

Yes they did. I was impressed by how nice they did turn out and bragged to a friend who has a 66 Dart also. needless to say I hadn't even finished cutting out the second kick panel and he was at the house installing them in his car. they did fit well. so with 6 revisions(lack of experience in mold makiing shows up there in a hurry) of the mold and 2 wasted 2'x2' pieces of plastic I figure they came out cheaper than I had expected AND Nicer than I thought. I hope the next part comes out as nice but it's .060 styrene and I think it'll show every blemish that I can't see, so I expect I'll have to make a piece ,fix the oops and try again. _________________ Newby just learning and going with the Proto form |
