Hi all, new to this forum but been around a while in prop and costume circles.
I built a table way back (over + wood frame + foam seal + shop vac) but now building something more consistent. Primarily for the odd prop here and there and some scooter / motorcycle parts (fenders, mudguards, etc.) for friends and customizing.
Lots of great info here, hope to leverage some expertise!

Welcome Lago!
There's a treasure trove of information in the history of this forum, although it's been rather quiet around here lately...
I'd be interested in seeing your scooter parts. Their nice rounded shape should work well for vacuum forming

Thanks Charlie.
You're totally right about the scooter parts. I figure vac forming will be cheaper than fiberglass in the long run, and I can use the table for other things too. |
