ok i have made my molds from wood an coated it with bondo what can i use to seal the mold im vacuum forming polycarbonate |

I use Polyester resin on wood/bondo molds but you can form over bare wood for a few parts. Many paints and varnishes get tacky when hot and you have to put messy mold releases on them. Use Polyester not epoxy resin, one coat to seal with a light sanding to knock off the nubs, then a second coat or more. This puts a hard shell over the wood that doesn't stick. _________________ Doug Walsh
