From another thread, dealing with using a vacuum form machine, and needing an extra hand for the forming process... well, for me, and when I'm running solo, I use a bungy[sp] strap. Once screw at the base of my stand, and loop the hook end on the handle give nearly the same amount of tension as holding the frame by hand. When the forming cycle is done, it's real easy to release the strap!

LOL, it's always cool to see what kind of jerry-rigged gadgets people come up with for this stuff... very ingenious, Jim!
I use an unbent coat hanger with one end hooked to the frame handle and the other end hooked to one of the copper pipes running above my table in the basement... how's THAT for low-tech! _________________ -John |
