The forming platen is 21.5 inches square. The MDF board it sits on is around 28 inches. But this was just some scrap I had. I just needs to be long enough to support the holding frames. The frames are 24x24 inches, so there is an addtional 2 inches on each side. The length my be 32, I can't remember, but once you make the forming platen and the holding frames, you can measure a board this will mount to. Thats what I did.

As for the second pic, the forming cart, the bottom MDF board is 24x24, and the legs are just cut from scarp wall studs I had on hand. These can be any size, but to be honest, I plan to scrap the carts in favor of a desktop version. I plan to make boxes the forming platen/holding frame sits on, and a box for the oven to sit on. This way I can stack them when not in use, and utilize some counter space. If you have a large garage, these carts work great!
