I was just wondering if anybody knew all the legal stuff to start selling home made movie props.

Not sure there is such a thing. As an individual, you can make almost anything you want, scratch built corvette, lake house, boat, airplane, even firearms to a certain degree. The issue comes, when you want to sell the stuff. |

As an individual, I'd say your chances of acquiring a license to use a major studios props for your own business are virtually nill. Generally only one company at a time is granted rights and usually that is chosen by who can make the most money (read sell lots and lots regardless of quality) for the studio. It's perfectly legal to make anything you want for your own private use, but once you start selling their props is when you really run a risk. |
