I am a fan of the original BSG from 1978, and beyond, and like the new show just as well. I do look at the new show as completely different show than the original show. Sure they carry the same name, and same goal, but one is dark, why the other is in most words I have heard describe it as campy. No matter how it is looked at I like both, and for different reason. I am glad to the Galactica name back on the screen and only hope that it stays around longer than the TOS.
