Hello, hello, hi, nice to meetya!
I'm Michael Vroegop, aka Vrogy online.
I'm here to learn about vacuum forming for costuming armor.. but not of the star wars variety. I have this crazy, crazy dream of building the new Marine armor for the game Starcraft 2(http://starcraft2.com/), and most of the surface of the armor can be made from 1/8"-3/16" thick vacuum-formed plastic, bolted to cast metal frames under it.
Think legions of stormtroopers is cool? Imagine squads of space marines.
I'll be blogging about the learning process involved at http://vrogy.com/blog/, grab the RSS feed if you're interested. |
