New to the site & looking to see if anyone might be able to give me some useful info. or advice on a project I am trying to get done for my car. I'm looking to have a fabricated set of taillights done where the lens covering the housing is completely clear instead of the stock red/orange. So once the stock red/orange acrylic lens is removed from the housing of the light, the clear layer of acrylic in the same shape would be fitted over the housing instead. I bought an extra set of lights already, but I'm just looking for someone who might have the right equipment that would be able to do a good job on making it look clean, and then I would mail the lights to them & work out whatever the cost of the job would total. Thanks so much to anyone who might be able to give some insight on this.

i dont know if youve got something already or not.. but most tail lights, its just a film, you can pull the film off once you get to it and itll leave the lense clear.. youll have to remember to get red and orange bulbs, some states all white/clear lenses are illegal tho. |

You should also look into the "silver' bulbs. Thats what I have on my MINI. They look silver, but when they light they are amber/red. I replaced my orange blulbs that I had in my side turn signles. |
