When patching a mold, used a good quality wood filler, 'bondo' auto body filler, or even plaster of paris mixed to a tooth-paste consistency. Let it dry, and sand smooth. Most of my molds are made from wood, and will accept almost any sort of building material patching compound. Even superglue with baking soda added makes a good filler. Mix the baking powder into a blob of superglue to thicken it up, and apply with a wooden stirring stick. |
