|
|
Hi All,
I have just tried to get some scope mounts from my local gun dealer and at AU$60 a set I figured it was a bit too steep. Ive noticed a lot of you guys mentioning US$6 mounts from Walmart and was wondering if anyone could grab me a few packets and sent them over here to Oz.
I would be able to pay via Paypal.
This would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

How many sets do you need?
WOW $60 a set. Dang!
Fro $6.98 at WalMart, you can get either the narrow mounts for .22 cal. or the wider mounts for big bore stuff. For the Rebel Fleet Trooper blaster, I used the narrower .22 mounts, but either will do.
Shipping should not be too bad, let me know if I can help.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the quick reply. I guess 4 sets would do just fine for the moment. I ended up buying a resin cast single point scope from Vincent at Correlian Supplies ( as suggested by this site ). It has a 1" dia so whatever mounts you would use for that size scope to go on the Rebel Blaster will do nicely.
Let me know when you're ready to buy them and I'll do the Paypal thing.
Thanks very much

I'm ready. Just tell me how many you want. These are about $7.60 a pop after taxes, and I'd guess that shipping would run $10.

Mounts are heading your way. Also, there is a fragment of the Hardi-backer 500. I cut it off my oven lid. It is held together with a paper clip, so if you take the clip off, it will fall apart.

Thanks very much Jim,
I hope the oven lid still works.
Im more excited about getting a bit of the hardibacker 500 than the mounts.
At least I'll be able to compare it to our stuff and hopefully get the oven built. The mounts will be good too.
Cheers
