Hey gang. Just wanted to show y'all my latest completed project, the Star Trek V and VI phaser. The big "Assault Phaser" has long been a favorite of mine. It just looks so much more menaxing than the previous ones.

This was a no-name garage kit I picked up off eBay. I'm eventually going to make amold of it and make some 1 or 2 piece copies to help beef up my little Starfleet armory.

Come to think of it, this thread might need to be moved to the costumes & equipment section.

Clint, nice looking phaser. I don't think we need to move it, at least for now.

Thanks, Jim. I've noticed Master Replicas is making these now, with all the bells and whistles: working slide, removable tiny Phaser-I, removable magazine.

Never could get this thing's slide to work right, no matter what I tried.

Yes, I saw was just reading about the MR Phaser. Ouch! Price tag is near $500! Now, I know there will be some places that will discount them, but even at half price thats too much!

Yeah. I've seen some kits that were like half price, but still too rich for my blood.
