I am wondering if anyone has any experience making molds for very small items such as these lightsabers from the vintage SW action figures:

I havent done any sort of resin casting or mold making yet and wonder if it will be a huge pain to try and replicate these tiny items.

it would be fairly simple. Have 1 pattern to make a silicone mold.
mold up a dozen or so copies. Make a spin cast mold, and run a whole pile of them. Its not too difficult....

For $50 it was worth it to get started.

Small parts and resin casting tend to lead to OK parts, but with air bubbles unless your degass the casting material, usually using a pressure pot, and a vacuum source.
