Great pic Smile

Can I ask you what you used to make the black/grey scatch marks on your amour?I'm wanting to give my armour a few scratch marks and a used look.

Thanks,

-Paul.

LOL, thanks for the compliments! Laughing

Believe it or not, after I dirtied my armor all I did was take a piece of 1 1/2" PVC pipe with an end cap on it, painted it black with Rustoleum, let that dry for about 20-30 minutes, then I kinda scuffed the pipe against the armor in random patterns to simulate battle scuffs and carbon scoring. I used the edges of the end cap and the sides of the pipe for varying widths and shapes. Some of it is also caused from carrying my BFG cradled in one arm while trooping and it kind of rubs against the right side of my chest piece and inner forearms. I like the effects the BFG makes rubbing against the armor, giving it a "real world" used feel, and SW props are ALL ABOUT TEXTURE! Heres another shot that shows some more nitty-gritty weathering.

Hope that helps!! Very Happy

Nice picture Tony! Here is mine at our most recent outing - not very bright, but it shows my new BFG...
