I'am going to build this vacuum forming machine .
Size 1'x2' using a shop vac also(or maybe 2'x2')
The frame will rise up to the heater 1st, to soften the plastic.
Next, raise the base with a mold on it up to the plastic and turn on the vacuum. Black part on the base will be a gasket
Any one have any suggestions on this type of setup? |

Hey, looks like you've got a good diagram to work with. Is that something you created? What types of projects do you have planned?
Since the plastic carrier will move up & down why not make the base fixed and just lower the plastic back down from the oven after it's hot? That may be a simpler method.
