In the video the plastic looks really thin and wobbly like the party city costume plastic. When you construct it do you glue several layers over each other to make it thicker? |

I'm not sure of the video your refer to. Most of the stuff I make are .080, with some .060 and some .093. If the parts are small and don't have much depth, then I try to use .060. The RFT helmet shell gets the .093, cause that thing is a beast! 90% of the trooper armor is .080 and is plenty thick for our purposes. [fan film]
The original Star Wars suits were .060, and were paper thin in spots.
Most of the commerical ABS trooping suits you see for $600 + are .093. |
