Hey all, just wanted to let you know that I will finally be building my vac table tomorrow based off of the pics/tip/plans and ideas provided within here, and the mother site. It will be me and the baby, spare 2x4, mdf, screws and free hardibaker, all day Saturday. I'll get a diagram up tonight to get feedback but gotta get to work until then,

Excellent! Be sure to take pictures of your progress so we can see what you're up to Smile

My son Alexander helped me to put together the forming table when he was 1. I've got a cute picture on the hard drive somewhere...

MDF and Hardibacker make real bad powder when being cut

MDF MSDS : http://www.norbord.com/images/MSDS_MDF_Eng_2007.pdf

MDF glue is made with urea formaldehyde which is not good for living creatures Shocked

Hardibacker board dust can lead to silicosis, so be sure to wear a respirator

Be sure to keep the baby away from the nasty dust, and before picking up the baby, watch out for dust on your clothing.

Have fun, and we are looking forward to seeing what you build!
