I am designing my custom oven like Doug's fantastic Proto-form machine. I do not have his plans and am 'scratch building' my machine.

I am looking for the same or similar 20 ga 3 5/8" track and the top and cross members are made from drop ceiling t-bar and cross tees, mentioned in Todd's post.

Where can I find this stuff? Is it available at Home Depot or stores like it?

These are pix of Todd's machine. Todd, I will take these down if you want me to.

The 3 5/8" channel or track is for steel studs. A steel stud has holes in it but the track is solid with no holes so that's why you want to use the track. The drop ceiling grid is also the standard steel stuff. One of your local Lowes or Home Depots probably has both products. However sometimes they don't carry steel stud track so you want to call around first. If they don't carry steel studs that hit the yellowpages for a local drywall supplier since they always carry steel stud track.
