It is a Husky and has a place to mount vacuum pump on top.It has two wheels so it can be moved this will give me 43 gal of vacuum with a 11 cfm rotary 3/4 hp pump
should do great.any one have old compressor tank like this?

Can you squeeze the sides of the tank wall any? If you can, then it will not be suitable for high vacuum storage. Hot water tanks are perfect for this operation.

Good find! You should be set up to do some big pulls with that much capacity.

IMX, compressor tanks work fine for vacuum. Since they were built to contain compressed air over 100 psi they are built strong enough to handle vacuum. My system uses a 30 gallon compressor tank that a neighbor actually gave me.
