How could I make a mold from a spoon? I'm very interested in giving a friend a set of chocolate utensils (fork, knife, spoon, etc.) for a birthday gift.

How would I prop it up with causing too much draft angle? Would the shape of the utensil be too much for the plastic? Need to know soon cause the party is in mid-February.

Separate question, has anyone here ever created an edible stormtrooper outfit for a party? Think of the possiblities...

A chocolate spoon.....I think a mold from food grade silicone would be better than vacuumforming over a spoon. vacformed you only would have 1 side of the spoon

A casting would be better than a vac form shell.

You're right about the mold, I forgot about the concave part of the spoon. The knife and fork would still work.

Gotta love the idea of chocolate tableware!
