Has anyone had any luck with drying acrylic?
If so, how did you go about it?
I have some .120 acrylic, and when I went to form a sheet...got hundreds of blisters.
Thanks for any input and ideas.
Mark

I've dried acrylic, I do it with old paper coated stuff. I put it in my oven overnight at 160f, lowest I can manage. I stack it flat and put strips of cardboard between the sheets to sticker it. Newer plastic coated stuff seems to not pick up water as fast and I dont dry it. Really though, when I overheat Acrylic I get a tremendous number of bubbles that look a alot like trapped steam, but its really the resin coming apart and outgassing. Gimme a PM with a fone # and we can talk it over..
