Hi All,

I've had the itch for a few years to build a table and now it's going to happen! I look forward to all your wisdom & help. Smile This site is a true benefit to the art!

Hey Jason, welcome to the forum.

If you've poked around here much you know there's all sorts of information floating around. What size & type vac former were you thinking about building. Any particular projects in mind? Star Wars or something else?

Hi DougN!

Yes, I have been poking around, in and out for a couple years. It is a great asset.

The plan is a 24 x 24 like Jim built. Over / under would be nice but seems to more elaborate, i.e. metal. I am looking to build it mainly from wood because wielding is out of the question. Fortunately I have a carpenter friend!

It would be used primarily for Star Wars, but not Stormtrooper parts. I want to create things that haven't been done yet.

The "things that haven't been done yet" seem to be a lot more fun! Post up picts when you get something underway!!
