Just curious if anyone has or thinks I can do this.
I have a injection molded part, it is solid, good draft angles, etc.
My question is will the plastic sheet stick to it?
I was thinking of using HIPS as the sheet.
Any thoughts or suggestions on getting a pull to work?
Thanks
Mark

Well the first question is "What is the Tg of the material?"
The Glass Transition Temp will tell you so much. Whats the
material they shot the part from? Scott.

Unfortunately I don't know. And have no way to find out.
The part is from circa 1988, it is a white translucent material injected to about 1/8" thick. That is about all the info I have.
Given your question, I would assume the lower the temp plastic that I use..would give it the best chance of success?
Do you think HIPS would be best option?
Or any other suggestions?
Mark
