Advance Auto does not carry a specific vac pump oil, but does carry air tool oil. Is this the same thing? Will 10 weight oil work....any additives?
Thanks, Mike |

What you want is, Hydro processed, Non-detergent, High Viscosity Mineral Oil. You'll find it where the heating and cooling repairmen shop..
Hope you don't take this to unkindly but, all you need do is enter a simple Goggle search.. Just type in, vacuum pump oil.. You'll get instant answers that way... It'll even suggest places nearby to shop..
There's so much at your finger tips, if you enter a search... Every time I enter a search, it usually takes me places that are relevant, that I had never considered.......Fredo _________________ If someone has a gun and is trying to kill you,

Thanks for the reply Fredo. I guess I should have been a little clearer. I was out of pocket for a few days last week and when I popped in I only had a few minutes to work on the computer so it was easier for me to just ask a quick question. I have so much oil around that I was hoping I had something here that I could substitute. As it turned out I found the proper oil at the local NAPA store. |
