hey guys im new here but i have done a little vacuum forming for r/c cars mostly 1/5 scale.i thought it would be great to learn some new ideas for mold making and overspray coverings for lexan.looks like alot of info in here.this is the body make for the baja 5t i have some one do the forming but i would like it to have the overspray film on it.

thanks guys the froming i have done is prototype with petg and then i ship my molds to a former to do the lexan for me since i didnt have the oven for baking the moisture out.i made the molds with aluminum epoxy from bjb enterprises. |

Too Bad about the drying oven, all you need is a plywood box and 150 degrees overnight.. Also, nuch lexan with peel off masking doesnt need drying since the masking film is non permeable to moisture. Buy the stuff from the right place and you dont need to dry it......... |
