Last week was Spring Break for me, so no Tip of the Week got posted.

This week, I'd like to talk about mold storage. When your molds are not in use, be sure to keep them in a safe place. I use a storage tub for my silicone molds. This keeps them clean, and dust free. I also store them indoors. The Vac-forming molds I keep in my toolshed, and they occupy a shelf with nothing on them but the molds. I try not to stack them, or store them with any other items that might bump or damaged them. Even so, each time I used the molds, I have to do some sort of repair. Also, moisture can damage your molds so watch out for that.
