Hi guys,
Can you take a look at this auction and tell if you think the motor is suitable for a home made vac table?I think it will be good enough to just run like a normal shop vac.

Hey Paul,
It's tough to tell what kind of shape the unit is in from the pictures. Will you be able to accomodate the power requirements for it? Also, you may want to ask what kind of connections are on the pump for the vacuum lines (3/4" or something else). Since this person lives relatively close to you, maybe you should check it out in person, and ask them to fire it up?

Thanks for the advice Charlie
I already asked him about the power and it will work on 240v house mains.I'll ask if I can come and veiw it.

Paul, just be sure the shaft is going to be compatible with your pump. I can't tell from the pic what the shaft looks like.
