Well, I finished the $15 SteadyCam. Actualy is was more like $18 but still cheap, and I used a tripod head as the camera mount.
So Jim, how does it work? Pretty well, actually. I'm still needing to practice with it, [walking with bent knees] and I need to make the invert adaptor for low ground shots, but I'm actually surpirsed how well it works. Adding a bicycle grip to a couple of the parts would help.
I'm not sure how many we need, but if you plan to shoot moving footage, this is a must have.

I do not have any pictures yet. But here is the info on how I made it:

The only thing I changed was the camera head. Instead, I used an old cheap camera head, with a ball-n-socket mount. Works very well.
