Thought I'd post some pictures of my machine and the parts I have made with it. One is an aircraft lens and the other a transmission shift lever cover for a Sunbeam Alpine. Both parts I had webbing difficulties with but was able to solve them.

Thanks Rockwerks, the basic frame started out as a steam table I built for my cafe and then was used as a workbench at my home garage and now it has found it's true calling. Keep it simple. Be sure to post some pictures I'd love to see them.

What kind of (yello) tank is that under the table?
That might be a lead for those of us seeking tanks.
Great photos btw.

The tank is a 18,000 cu in low pressure (400psi) stainless steel O2 tank from a KC-97 airplane. I found it years ago in a scrap yard for 50 dollars. They were made in smaller sizes also and can still be found in surplus yards and scrap yards from time to time. If I had not had this tank I would have used an air compresser tank of similar size.

Hah-hah, very appropriate! You're using a tank from a Stratotanker for your vacuum chamber. I love it!
And for those of you interested, 18,000 cubic inches = 77 gallons
No wonder it takes you a while to draw down for a pull, that's a lot of air!
