Hi, this is the Bill that Jim talks about in the video that sent him the plastic. I have made al sorts of molds for resin items and I am going to start on a vac table.

Bill!
Good to see you over here! Resin will work fine for vac molds. It gets expensive, but if you lay it up with fiberglass, you can make a great mold that way too!

Bill, thanks for the assist to Jim on developing the documentery short film. It was very enlightening. I mean it. My son saw it as well, and he is as gung-ho about this fabrication project as I am. We are buying are supplies piece by piece as money does not grow on trees. I haven't figured out how to make that kind of hybrid plant yet, but I'm working on it. Thanks again guys for all the work you do. I have a lot of reading in the forum to catch up on, so I can be up to speed. High speed...low drag. That's how I try to live. Oh, I maintain my family time. I just take them along for the ride. Everyday is an adventure. Carry on Asok and Egner. |
