To insert an image with a post, you must have a URL or somehow can be posted from my computer?

Hello Jannypan & welcome to the forum. The ProtoForm vac former overhead oven like Deadline built, and documented so well, does not use ceramic posts. http://codemonkeycrew.com/Articles/ArticleView/tabid/235/ArticleId/36/Vacuum-Form-Build-part-Eight.aspx
However, ceramic posts, nichrome, high temp wire, and other heating related products can be found at More Electric Heating:
http://www.morelectricheating.com

hope this helps, DougN

Finally got around to taking some pictures and thought that I would share them. First I would like to point out that my machine, while completely working ....I still consider it to be a work in progress, as I will continue to refine and improve.
Although I did purchase the Protoform plans, as you can see most of the machine is based on my own design. However as mentioned other times, Doug's plans were a wise investment. I would also like to give much credit to TK560 and everyone that has contributed!!!!
For the tech geeks among us, the stats are;
Max sheet size; 32"x48" (as pictured with 24"x32" reducer frame and platen)
Oven Output; 14,079 watts @ 9.1666 watts sq. in.
Electric; 220 volt 80 amp (actual draw of 64 amps continuous) for oven
110volt 20 amp for vacuum pump and cooling fan
Pump; Busch 15 cfm, 110v
Tanks; 41 gals total (26 gal + 15 gal), plumbed as 2 stage system
I have set up the oven as a 4 zone, each zone infinite controlled from off to max.
Carrier frame travel is 32"
That's about it, thanks for looking....Enjoy Very Happy

Hi All,

Long time lurker, some buddies and I recently finished our first table, not as elegant as many I have seen here, but it is certainly functional:

Thanks to this community for all the helpful posts, it really helped when tackling this project.

Nicely Done.... It's amazing the design work you can do from cruising a few commercial sites.... The only thing I can see to add is an air ram stop for varyng the position of different mold bases as they move up. Either you have it set below the height of the tallest tool and use its mold base to get to the Z axis zero point, or you adjust the ram to do the same thing.....
