A friend was telling me that at a recent "Star Wars Science" exhibit they explained that in order to make a "real world" lightsaber the device would be the size of a house and that energy required for it would be large enought to power a major city. Crazy.
I guess we won't be seeing one on Wal-Mart selves anytime soon. |

LOL. I seem to recall the science is having issues with the beam stopping a one meter. Like a flashlight the beam just would go on and on.
