Hi All,

New to the forums and vacuum forming. I am 35 and the father of twin 5 year old boys.

I am a member of a group of LARPers (Live Action Role Playing) and have worked in leather and metal armor. Recently we introduced a Sci-Fi LARP called Eclipse, http://www.redbuttonproductions.net/eclipse/index.html.

In keeping with the Sci Fi atmosphere a group of us are planning on building a table and creating vacuum formed armor (nothing is worth doing if you cant look good doing it Wink ) We plan on using 1/16" to 1/8" ABS to hold up to the rigors of combat.

I am sure I will have lots of questions on both the construction of the table and the vacuum forming process. Thank you for letting me join the community.
